I need a chart to keep track of all that was happening with these triplets

  • Review by r96sk ★★½

Although still not terrible, this 'The Parent Trap' sequel is nearer to the low level that you'd expect.

'Parent Trap III' begins to show the repetitive nature on the premise, as the film is quite boring throughout given we've already seen a similar concept in the previous two productions. This one attempts to mix things up by having triplets as opposed to two sisters/two friends.

Hayley Mills returns again which is good, even if her characters are forced into the storyline a bit too much. The three Creel sisters Leanna, Monica and Joy all do fine in their respective roles, while Barry Bostwick (Jeffrey) and Patricia Richardson (Cassie) are alright. It's a decent cast, though they don't stop the already…

  • Review by Jen Abella ★★★

Only watch if you loved the Hayley Mills original. Otherwise it's probably only my sisters and I who can quote this movie.

  • Review by Ed South ★★★ 1

Easily the weakest of the 5 Trap films; although the Creel triplets are fun to watch this film doesn’t really have much to give in the second act - all leading up to a fairly simple (and not funny) “trap” in the end.

However, I love this series so this one gets a pass. I still enjoy it.

(The mom from Home Improvement is in it.)

not enough twinanigans between susan and sharon🫤

  • Review by sethisnumber1 ★★★

Watched it on youtube, quality wasn't the best but at least I got to see it since Disney won't release it.

So Parent Trap 3 is clearly a made for TV remake of 2, but with a few better qualities. I've seen 2 a few times, but I couldn't tell you much about it. I'll probably remember this one better. The cast is pretty good. Barry Bostwick and Patricia Richardson are the to be married couple, until Hayley Mills shows up as their interior designer.

They are all great together, despite Bostwick's character yelling almost nonstop during this. Richardson plays the villain, but not really. she doesn't do anything that makes her evil, unlike the villain in all the other…

the triplets' own arcs are a little dull but i loved how the family dynamic shifted when susan came onto the scene, and the chemistry between hayley mills and barry bostwick was so strong it really caught me off guard

the fashion and aesthetic of this is absolutely unbeatable and there's some good music in here
